Happy Passion week, all!  I hope everyone is taking advantage of this opportunity to observe and reflect on the death, burial, and RESURRECTION of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It occurred to me earlier today that oftentimes, our trials and experiences parallel a death, burial and resurrection season.  Just like one must understand that the death of our Lord would be followed by resurrection power, we must also understand that our trials and tribulations will culminate in overcoming victories.  In turn, our victories become our testimony.

Jesus bore the sin and shame of all humanity so that we would never have to experience the grueling agony that accompanied His being nailed to the cross.  Most importantly, however, is that by the Spirit of God, Jesus Christ rose and conquered death to represent new life.

So, I encourage you, no matter how terrible things may seem, you have an opportunity this Easter to put your situation in His nail scarred hands and let Him bring new life.

Hello all! Well, spring is finally on the horizon! I love this time of year. I get to ride my bike, go to the park, and participate in all kinds of outdoor adventures! :) I also love spring, because it has always been a time of refreshing and renewal for me.

Most people I know love spring time, however, I do know a few people (including myself) who are not too fond of the "spring forward" time change. Nobody likes to lose sleep!

Just like in our everyday lives, God has a season that He wants each and every one of us to "spring forward" and move on from past hurts and past mistakes. Personally, this is a very difficult thing for me to do, and I'd like to think I'm not alone in that. But, it is paramount in our relationship with God that we do move on, so He can spring us forward into bigger and better things. We cannot let grudges and bitterness from past experiences hold us back. God has a divine plan for each and every one of our lives … so take the leap … spring forward and see what amazing things God has in store for you!

February....my absolute favorite month of all!  This month is so exciting to me because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the greatest gift of all, love.  I know this holiday is looked at by many with much disdain, but this year, take the opportunity to take the romance out of it, and focus on the heart and soul of the holiday.  LOVE.  Love is a commandment that we, as Christians are supposed to fulfill.  We are called to simply, love.  There are so many hurting, discouraged and lonely people in this world.  Although we may not be able to fix every sad, heartbreaking situation people face, we can bring hope and encouragement through LOVE.  I strongly encourage you to study 1 Corinthians chapter 13, this month.  Verses, 4-7 describe love in the way God intended it to be.  Choose one verse a week to apply to your life, this month and watch as the lives of those around are uplifted.

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Simply, LOVE.

Hello all!!! I hope everyone's New Year celebrations were spectacular! As I said in my last blog post, I love every time a new year comes because it gives us a chance to embark on new adventures! This year I have some very exciting things planned, including some new music!!! Yay! God spoke to me so much through 2013, and He is continuously speaking into my life, now. I cannot wait to spread the message that He has given me for all of you...it is a message of joy, hope, and faith! I hope you are all as excited as I am. Until next time!

Well, as one of my favorite carols states, It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  That time of year...my favorite time of year is already here!  I love this time of year so much because all around there are constant reminders to love, share, care, and give.  It is a time of year for families to grow closer and create precious memories that will last forever.

I love spending the holidays with my family.  We have such a fantastic time together!  We eat waaaaayy too much food, play all sorts of games, sing, laugh, and just simply "be" together.  I am constantly reminded of how blessed I am and my heart is so full.

The joy of the Lord surrounds this season, and we as believers and followers of the King should embrace every opportunity we have to spread the joy.  Never forget the reason for this season.  Christ came so that "we may have life and have it more abundantly."  So GO!!  Love, share, care, give, and make wonderful memories!  Wishing you all a very blessed and merry CHRISTmas!

On May 7, at dusk, a crowd of people squeezed into the candlelit studio of 88.7FM the Cross to celebrate the release of Hayley's new EP, "Lead Me". The band was in the groove as they performed an acoustic set of several songs from the album. The friends and fans were a blast, and one of them captured the hit single "Crazy Ride" on their social cam and shared it with us! If you missed the party, you can download the EP from iTunes or order a physical copy from her website. She also has several events coming up, so check out her calendar!
