As I was going through a lot of memories getting ready for graduation, I came across a book that I wrote when I was in the first grade at River Oaks Elementary School.  I've always loved the story of Easter, and how that through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, people can find eternal life.

"The Easter Egg Hunt", of course, as the title indicates, is about Berinia not being able to find her Easter eggs.  Just when she was about to give up, what do you think happened? Hmmm...  You guessed it!  She found them and was so thrilled!

Sometimes finding hope and eternal peace may seem frustrating to the point of giving up, but Jesus really isn't that hard to find.  If we will seek Him, He will be found.

Several nights ago, I was honored to be a part of the Make-a-Wish Foundation Benefit Concert.  Thomas Culp and Cody Smith came out to help me with an acoustic set.  It was great to see people from the community show their support by donating to this cause and helping the Copeland family's wish become a reality.  Here are a few pictures of an evening that made me feel like I had made a difference in the lives of others.

John DeNosky and I had a wonderful evening performing acoustic sets at Jim Bowie's Relay Station in Enterprise, LA!  The owners, Mr. Raymond and his wife, are true examples of "southern hospitality"!  Great food and great friends.  Thanks to all who came out!!

Hayley Masters: O Holy Night
Dec 1

We rolled into Chicago about 5 p.m. and stepped into WXAV radio station for a quick interview with Michael Burr.  Then John and I rehearsed for the acoustic set that cranked up at 8:30 that cold Wednesday night.  I'll have to say it was one of the most amazing concerts with some incredible students from Saint Xavier University!

Students from Saint Xavier University braved the cold on a Wednesday night and came out to Power Movement. And just let me say, it was powerful! John DeNosky and I did an acoustic set, and the place was blowing up with an unmistakeable move of the Holy Spirit. God's annointing definitely rested upon the worship. And afterwards, we had some fun times meeting so many people! Love these guys!!
